Apple Cider Vinegar and Warts Removal

For those trying the apple cider vinegar to remove warts here is a suggested way to do that. Try soaking a cotton ball or small clean cloth in apple cider vinegar and apply to the wart and then to keep it in place over night put a band-aid on.  It is necessary to leave it on overnight. You can leave it on for up to 24 hours and then change it every night before going to bed.  This needs to take place for at least a week.

The wart may swell and even throb because of the vinegar.  After the first couple of day it may turn black and then after about a week or two it should be totally gone.  It is wise to continue this process for about a week after the wart has fallen off.  This will help ensure that the wart doesn’t return.

This is an easy and inexpensive way to treat the simple wart.  The pain will probably be the worst part of the entire process.  It may be that some people will experience no pain at all while others will have mild pain and others more extensive pain.  It could also be that the pain will last only a few hours and then for others it may be it will last for 3 or 4 days.

There are plenty of other suggestions you might try as well.  It is important to wash the spot really well and then make sure it is completely dry.  Some folks suggest putting Vaseline around the wart in order to protect the skin that is good so the rest of the skin doesn’t dry out.

Many say that it is best to let it get some air during the day and not keep it wrapped up.  Some even suggest that once the wart falls off to put something like Neosporin on and then place a band-aid on it to help with the crater and/or scar that may be left behind.

It is wise to check with a medical doctor if you have a medical condition such as diabetes, etc before you start trying home remedies.  It is also good to know that ACV may not work for everyone and if you have sensitive skin, apple cider vinegar and warts may not be an ideal solution.
