Apple Cider Vinegar Uses
There are some great out door uses that might surprise you. If you have an area of unwanted grass or need to get rid of that grass that comes up in the sidewalk, poor some vinegar on it and that unwanted grass will be gone. You can occasionally add 2 tablespoon of the vinegar to a gallon of water and water your plants with it for healthier and stronger plants. You can clean your used pots before potting another plant in them to cut down the lime. Also rinse your hands with it after gardening and it will help keep your skin from being rough and flaky.
You can also use the apple cider vinegar for your animals and those annoying bugs too. When you clean that fish bowl, wipe it out with a rag with vinegar on it and it will get rid of that ugly deposit that fish tend to leave. If you have an ant problem in your house, spray the vinegar all around door frames and window seals as well as on the kitchen cabinets and you can say goodbye to those pesky little ants. You can spray a little vinegar in places that you want your beloved cat to stay away from and it will discourage her from scratching or even walking or sleeping in that area. If you add a little vinegar to your dog’s drinking water, it will keep the fleas and mange away.
You can also use the apple cider vinegar on tools and your car. For nice and shiny chrome on your vehicle, just clean it with the vinegar and it will look like new. You can also clean your windows and mirrors on your car with the vinegar to keep them from frosting up during the winter. You know that pile of tools, nuts and bolts covered in rust? That is right, clean them with the apple cider vinegar and they will be rust free.
There are a lot of great uses for apple cider vinegar in the kitchen as well. You can use the vinegar to clean tea and coffee stains from pots, pictures and glasses. Do you always end up boiling your eggs a little too long and cracking a few? Next time add a little vinegar to the water when boiling eggs and it will keep them from cracking. You can also run a cup of vinegar through your dishwasher to give it a nice cleaning and it will get rid of that build up. Run about ½ cup of vinegar and the rest water through your coffee pot to give it a good clean up. You can also clean and disinfect your cutting board by using vinegar to clean it with. You know that baked on, caked on nasty in the microwave? Just boil a cup of water with ¼ cup vinegar in the microwave and it will loosen that right up. You can clean and debug those fresh vegetables with a mixture of water, salt and apple cider vinegar.
Vinegar is an amazing cleaner in the bathroom as well. You can clean soap scum, mildew and that nasty grime from the bath tub and shower in no time with apple cider vinegar. All you have to do is spray the vinegar on and then wipe it off. If your shower head is all clogged up, you can simply unscrew it and take the washer out and then soak it in the vinegar to remove that build up.
As you can see, there are some great uses for apple cider vinegar for around the house. It is a fantastic product for many reasons and one that every household should have on hand.
